B&R Americas Hosts AutomationCON at Lake Lanier Islands, Georgia

From April 29 to May 1, AutomationCON 2025 brought together 250 attendees, including customers, partners, and B&R engineers, for an unparalleled experience focused on automation and innovation.

General session speakers included B&R’s CTO, Florian Schneeberger; CSO, Susana Gonzalez; VP Software, Sridharan Rangarajan; and Global Product Manager Motion & Drives, Wilfried Guerry.

AutomationCON offered exciting opportunities to connect, learn, and elevate automation skills over three days. The event included over 60 hands-on workshops and 12 general session topics which explored the B&R portfolio and innovations, showcasing cutting-edge automation technologies and their applications.

“Attendees traveled from across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Brazil to learn about new innovations, deepen their knowledge of B&R technologies, and network with like-minded individuals. The opportunity to connect and grow with customers was truly invaluable,” said Christian Kastinger, RMD Americas.

Evening entertainment in the beautiful surrounds of Lake Lanier Resort provided all attendees with a relaxed and fun environment to network and connect with colleagues and peers.  A group of executives toured the new B&R US headquarters in Alpharetta, GA, where B&R is starting to assemble some products. The guests were also introduced to various technology demonstrations in the Innovation Space, where B&R conducts proof-of-concept testing with customers.

AutomationCON 2025 was a testament to the power of community and the relentless pursuit of progress in industrial automation. We look forward to continuing this journey together with our customers and setting new standards in the industry.
