Osaro integrated Cognex's DataMan fixed-mount barcode readers into its Robotic Bagging System, providing advanced technology to Zenni Optical. The Osaro Partners Alliance serves as a one-stop access point for businesses seeking to deploy robotics in fulfillment operations, facilitating collaboration among autonomous-mobile-robot and automated-storage-and-retrieval-system suppliers, integrators, distributors, logistics companies and consultants.
In a recent deployment at Zenni Optical, Cognex's DataMan readers were integrated into Osaro's system, featuring a Fanuc robot arm powered by Osaro's SightWorks vision and control system. The collaboration addressed a specific challenge with Zenni's translucent blue eyeglass cases, where traditional scanners struggled to read barcodes through plastic.
