Oriental Motor began with handmade 1/8 HP single-phase commutator motors. Today, Oriental Motor offers products in six distinct motion control product groups: stepper motors, servo motors, standard AC motors, speed control motors, linear/rotary actuators and cooling systems.

Since our success in standardizing compact motors, we have been developing products to accommodate all kinds of motion requirement. Copiers in the 60’s, personal computers in the 70’s, ATM’s and floppy disk drives in the 80’s, semiconductor manufacturing equipment in the 90’s, and digitization and environmentalism in recent years. We will continue to create motion to meet society’s needs of tomorrow. Our extensive sales and service network is global with offices throughout North America, Europe and Asia.
