Valin Names its Supplier of the Year

Valin Corporation, a privately held, employee-owned company providing technical solutions for the technology, energy, life sciences, natural resources, and transportation industries, awards U.E. Precision Sensors (UE-PSI) as the 2013 Supplier of the Year.
Valin Corporation, a privately held, employee-owned company providing technical solutions for the technology, energy, life sciences, natural resources, and transportation industries, awards U.E. Precision Sensors (UE-PSI) as the 2013 Supplier of the Year.  This is the second straight year that UE-PSI receives Valin’s Supplier of the Year Award, which recognizes the outstanding performance of product manufacturers for automation, fluid management, fluid power, precision measurement, filtration and process heating.

UE-PSI, located in Milford, CT, was founded more than 50 years ago to serve the aerospace and defense industries. Acquired by United Electric in 1989, Precision Sensors designs and manufactures electromechanical and solid state pressure, vacuum, liquid level, temperature, flow and altitude/airspeed switches for commercial and military aerospace, and semiconductor process markets.  UE-PSI delivers fundamental value in the form of cost effective, reliable threshold detection and switching products for critical control, monitoring and alarm functions used to protect people, expensive equipment and processes.
Other special recognitions were awarded to Bosch Rexroth for their Innovation Leadership, Chromalox for their Marketing Leadership, Omron for their Training Leadership, Intelligent Actuator (IAI) for their Strategic Partnership, Mott for their Engineering Support Leadership and Parker Domnick Hunter for their Strategic Partnership.  Awards were given out at Valin’s Supplier of the Year Award ceremony held Thursday, February 20, 2014.
