The vendor has launched a version of its Historian specifically for value-added resellers (VARs) and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
The Historian–OEM Edition enables customers of the vendor’s software and other vendors’ HMI/SCADA products to reduce commissioning times and respond faster to maintenance needs. The OEM Edition allows VARs and OEMs, such as machine and solution builders, to include a historian with each installation of the vendor’s InTouch HMI. This provides the ability to more effectively commission a machine solution by using meaningful analysis, comparing various information points rather than relying on the standard trend feature of InTouch.
