The Mini ScrewRail is the miniature addition to the ScrewRail linear actuator line of non-ball lead screws. The entire ScrewRail line features a compact design for linear motion applications requiring extra guidance and support.
Originally available with outside diameters of 0.500, 0.750 and 1 inch, the Mini ScrewRail is available in a 0.375 inch outside diameter. It is suited for medical, data storage, semiconductor and photonics equipment applications in which accurate positioning in a confined space is a primary design objective. The Mini ScrewRail utilizes a proprietary Kerkote TFE coating on both the lead screw and guide rail, minimizing drag torque and extending wear life with the self-lubricating design. As with the larger ScrewRails, the Mini is available with a wide range of screw leads, in both standard and self-compensating anti-backlash assemblies.
George Reed, with the help of Factory Technologies, was looking to further automate the processes at its quarries and make Ignition an organization-wide standard.
Goodnight Midstream chose Ignition because it could fulfill several requirements: data mining and business intelligence work on the system backend; powerful Linux-based edge deployments...
