CANopen is available on both AC and DC actuators, allowing them to perform as a slave with a CANopen master, without the features of a standalone indexer like other models in the line. Setup is with the company's Expert software using the RS-485 port. Connections for CANopen are offered with either an M12 connector or wired directly to a terminal strip on the connection board with 75, 90 and 115 mm frame sizes. Other hardware features include eight digital inputs (AC)/four digital inputs (DC), four digital outputs (AC)/three digital outputs (DC) and RS-485 communications (serial interface supporting Modbus RTU). DSP402 motion types implemented in the actuators include profile torque, profile velocity and profile position, including acceleration, deceleration, target velocity, end velocity and target position.
