Emerson Process Management, the Austin, Texas-based process automation supplier, has opened two technology centers in Tianjin, China, to help meet the rising demand for control-valve and valve-automation products for the growing process manufacturing industry in the Asia Pacific region.
The new centers feature an advanced flow laboratory for research and product design, with on-site applications engineers for support to Asia Pacific customers. The 12,000-square-meter Emerson campus, within the Wuqing development area in Tianjin, also includes a manufacturing facility, which features rapid-response manufacturing as well as after-market support services.
